Description:  This 8-hour program provides a comprehensive and up-to-date review of the knowledge needed to become a nationally certified school nurse. Based on the 2019 NCSN exam content outline, participants will receive information that will not only promote national certification exam success, but will also enhance clinical nursing practice. This program will be taught by Dr. Janice Selekman who edited School Nursing: A Comprehensive Text as well as authoring NASN’s School Nursing Certification Review. This preconference is sponsored by the National Board for the Certification of School Nurses in cooperation with NASN.

Purpose:  The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to acquire the information needed to be successful on the National Certification exam.
