With over 4,000 school nurses holding the NCSN credential, more than 300 emeritus NCSNs, over 50 state liaisons and 10 directors leading the NBCSN Board, the National Board of Certified School Nurses has a strong and diverse community across the country.
Become a State Liaison
Liaisons promote Certification across their state: they increase awareness of the NCSN credential, encourage fellow school nurses to seek certification and advocate the highest standards in school nursing.
Join a Committee
Committee volunteers play an essential role in developing the certification exam. All practicing school nurses holding the NCSN credential are eligible to join a test development committee.
Join the Board
Board Members are responsible for leading the course of NBCSN and the NCSN credential. They work with the community to establish goals and accomplish the mission of NBCSN.
