2008 Certification Update

The Certification Examination for School Nurses was administered two times in 2008 – in February and and July.

Of the 566 examinations which were administered, 403 (71.2%) of the candidates passed the examination.

During the first eight months of 2008, 132 NCSNs successfully recertified.

As of September 9, 2008 there were 2,961 NCSNs.

2007 Certification Update

The Certification Examination for School Nurses was administered three times in 2007 – in January, June, and July.

Of the 476 examinations which were administered, 265 (55.7%) of the candidates passed the examination. 

During 2007, 257 NCSNs successfully recertified.

As of August 1, 2007 there were 2,631 NCSNs.

2006 Certification Update

The Certification Examination for School Nurses was administered six times in 2006 – in February, April, June, July, August, and November.

Of the 539 examinations which were administered, 314 (58.3%) of the candidates passed the examination. 

During 2006, 356 NCSNs successfully recertified.
